For several days now I have been lost in my notebook and writing, sometimes by the time I decide to go out for a walk it is already dusk, it is even more common for me to wake up so late that I don’t even hear the third cackle of the rooster, I stay up so late so I can enjoy that moment when the cold mountain air comes in through the window and penetrates inside me, even at a very young age I realized that deep inside me was a kind of indifference, not just indifference, but a coldness, after I got older I seemed to naturally adjust to spending time alone, whenever I was with friends or a group of people for a while I would always start to crave some time alone, best if I could scurry back to my own lonely nest, after my student days, I had almost no friends, “Aren’t you lonely?” people would ask out of concern, I would just laugh, solitude knows nothing of loneliness, perhaps it was that cold mountain air that somehow struck a chord with my solitude, the next time I went back to Riverisle was during late autumn of the following year, I told people I went back for the Remains of Life who had survived after “the Incident,” in actuality it was because I missed sitting in front of my desk at dusk, I missed the cold air that enshrouded my mattress at bedtime, that cold mountain air, it had the same feeling as my solitude, the same aura, as I took down my notes I skipped over Black V, when it comes to characters like Black V who “accept both men and women” I can directly write about them from the inside, but it was instead what was said to Girl while lying on that hotel’s amethyst BioMat that led her to turn herself around, that threw my memorandum into disarray, that sentence was a line right out of an erotic historical drama with a rotten modern ending, it had an overwhelming melodramatic force while at the same time being completely hysterical, does anyone even talk like that in real life? Even in this island nation’s number one metropolitan city I doubt you could ever find anyone sophisticated enough to utter those words, In that kind of a setting, uttering those words must have been his way of expressing his laments about life, his mockery of history or his compassion for the world, or perhaps he just couldn’t get his cock hard enough to penetrate her, or perhaps he realized that no matter how he penetrated her he would never be able to “move” her, and so in the spur of the moment he decided to use a single sentence to penetrate her and get deep inside her, I’m willing to believe that it was that one single sentence that moved Girl to the point that it penetrated deep inside the core of her being, I
